**Eagers Automotive Group** is looking for a
**Risk and Compliance Officer** who is passionate and motivated to join our Financial Services team in Wooloongabba, Brisbane on full-time basis.

Reporting to the Financial Services Manager, this role provides assistance in leading, embedding and overseeing the implementation of a risk control and compliance framework across the Financial Services activities.

Some of your responsibilities would include:

- Assist in identifying business process improvement initiatives that strengthen the risk control and compliance framework
- Assist in closing out of outstanding risk mitigation actions stemming from audit and other report findings
- Assist in preparation of quarterly audit and operational reviews as well as an annual compliance certificate
- Assist in maintaining the risk registers
- Work closely with the Legal team along with the Internal Audit & Risk team

ABOUT YOU:

- Have knowledge of ASIC regulations and familiar with Financial Services industry practices
- Have working knowledge of auditing processes and feel equally confident delivering on operational reviews
- Be comfortable in building strong working relationships with product specialists with the ability to translate regulatory commitments to actionable items from a financial product perspective
- High integrity and professional ethics
- Strong problem-solving skill
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior analytical skill with strong attention to detail
