**This is a permanent full-time role based in SYDNEY or MELBOURNE.**

**Purpose of the role**:
The Talent and Production Manager ensures on-screen talent is fully supported, manages production timelines, and aligns projects with goals. This role requires expertise in negotiation, relationship-building, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the entertainment industry.

**Functions will also include**:
**Talent Management**:

- Build strong relationships with talent agencies, artists, producers, and network executives.
- Support talent with guidance and resolve logístical or professional challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Publicity, Marketing, Health & Wellbeing, Security) to align Talent obligations.
- Track and report talent-related expenditure.
- Review and manage talent agreements, ensuring contract milestones are met.
- Implement best practices for talent welfare, health, safety, and mental well-being.

**Production Support**:

- Assist the Head of Production in managing the production slate.
- Collaborate with Production Management to meet logístical, financial, and operational standards.
- Liaise with broadcast operations to address technical and operational needs.
- Coordinate timely license fee and talent payments and prepare cash flow reports.
- Proactively resolve production challenges and ensure compliance with policies, legal, and safety standards.
- Promote sustainability through eco-friendly production practices.

**This is what we’re looking for**:

- 3+ years in production roles within the entertainment industry, with budgeting and scheduling experience.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard production tools and software.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and welfare standards in production.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in production.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
- Full driver’s license and discretion in working with talent and stakeholders.
