**About us
**We’re Littlepay - a fast growing fintech based in Melbourne, and the world's only payment processor specialising in the transit and mobility sector. We've developed a payments platform that enables customers to pay for public transport using any payment card, mobile wallet, or wearable device. Littlepay is now processing transactions in 12 countries and continuing to expand globally.
Our Littlepay values:
- We value trust and trustworthiness.
- We embrace challenge.
- We solve problems, together.
- We deliver with speed and agility.
- We are candid and kind.
**About the opportunity
**At Littlepay, our passion is to make payments journeys effortless, both in-person via contactless and online via web and mobile checkouts. The Product team sits at the heart of achieving our ambitious vision and goals. We’re looking for a strategic Product Manager in Melbourne to work closely with our technical and business stakeholders to help shape the future of transit payments.
As a custodian of the customer, you will work closely with our teams to identify new problems, initiate ideas, and deliver new and innovative solutions - from core payments processing to enable our transit merchants to accept contactless bank cards and devices to a slick transaction and customer analytics. You will also support integrations in and out of our platform, whether it be contactless readers, acquiring banks, or payment networks.
You will act as the conduit between Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial to understand desired customer and stakeholder outcomes, gather requirements, and then articulate the required propositions and functionality that can be implemented in an agile manner.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Work closely with customers and the Commercial team to identify gaps and opportunities to enhance our existing capabilities or build new ones
- Analyse and communicate business insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver required specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and produce designs/models where needed
- Work with technical teams to write technical user stories and acceptance criteria
- Do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, whether that means hunting down the root cause of a user’s frustration
- Obsess about both continuous product improvement and shipping new product features
- Be excited about scaling our products to help build a customer-driven product that will revolutionise digital commerce for transit
**About you
**Ideally, you’ll have:
- At least 4 years of hands-on product management experience (bonus marks for technical product ownership and payment industry exposure)
- An innate curiosity and desire to solve complex problems
- Solid technical knowledge, capable of exploring and understanding technical issues
- Experience working in Agile teams running Kanban or Scrum, while respecting the need for compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS)
- The ability to use Agile development tools such as JIRA
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work under pressure, multitask and consistently meet tight deadlines
- Superb communication skills, ability to interact with multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science or related technical field advantageous
**Why us?
**We love to look after our people. At Littlepay, you’ll:
- Be part of an inclusive and diverse team who celebrates the differences and unique gifts we each bring to work
- Have access to significant learning and development programs
- Be able to take advantage of international travel opportunities
- Have access to a Littlepay company wide public holiday
- Be able to take up the numerous other benefits that being at Littlepay affords you, including being part of a growing community of innovators at Stone and Chalk
**Our recruitment process
**If you’ve been shortlisted for the role, you’ll first have a chat with our Head of Talent, who will set up an interview if the stars align. A short workplace preferences questionnaire will also be sent to help us to learn more about the way you prefer to work. Following a successful first interview, you’ll meet with a second set of Littlepay folks for a final time.
Ultimately, being part of our small but mighty team means you'll have the opportunity to learn about micropayments, and have a hand in the provision of services that impact millions of people. You’ll help us deliver on our revolutionary product roadmap and help scale our platform as we continue to expand across the globe.
If this opportunity interests you, hit apply We look forward to learning about you.
