An exciting opportunity exists for a Medical Receptionist to join a busy surgical practice in Claremont, WA, supporting Dr Michael Perret, Orthopaedic Surgeon, and his team.

About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play an integral role in supporting Dr Perret and the surgical team, working closely with staff at both SJOG Mt Lawley and the Perth Shoulder Clinic in Claremont. You will be part of a dynamic team that works alongside two other Orthopaedic Surgeons in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage patient inquiries and appointment scheduling, ensuring smooth patient flow and positive experiences.
- Process Medicare, private health fund, ICWA, and Workers' Compensation claims and billing (full training provided).
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assist with general office duties to ensure an organised and efficient work environment.
- Provide administrative support to Dr. Perret and the surgical team.

Position Details:

- Part-time (10-15 hours per week).
- Occasional flexibility required due to varying clinic hours and locations.
- Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate (based off experience), plus superannuation and entitlements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and stay motivated.
- Proficiency in practice management software (Gentu or Genie) preferred, but not required - full

training provided.
- Strong multitasking abilities and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to efficiently manage patient inquiries and appointment coordination.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
