KB Food Co. is one of Australia’s largest seafood companies operating at all levels of the supply chain including catching, processing, manufacturing, importing, exporting, and wholesaling. We provide over 30,000 tonnes of seafood annually to leading foodservice operators and major supermarkets.

Our brands include, KB Seafood Co, Just Caught Frozen Seafood, KB’s, and By George which is used under license, and we have over 2,700 active products in the market.

**The Position**:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Lobster Processing Supervisor will undertake the supervision of our processing staff and control of the day-to-day operations of the Lobster processing area, ensuring activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner resulting in product of the highest quality standard.

The position is full time and based in Canning Vale, Western Australia.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide supervision, support, and guidance to staff assigned to the sorting, grading and weighing of incoming deliveries.
- Receive all deliveries and maintaining the delivery documentation.
- Ensure quality of product by regular inspections and assist with the ongoing maintenance of stock rotation.
- Ensure schedule is followed and achieved to the day’s completion.
- Communicate with team members the length of the production line to ensure schedule attainment.
- Ensure package storage areas, loading dock, and yard are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
- Manage staff members on the production line, so all work areas are appropriately manned, and all tasks can be completed is a timely efficient and safe manner.
- Responsible for ensuring that all occupational safety and health requirements are adhered to according to company requirements and OH&S legislation.
- Ensure that all incidents/accidents are reported and investigated.
- Ensure that all injury management requirements are fulfilled.
- Promote and maintain a positive and safe working environment.
- Ensure staff are suitably attired in the uniform and protective equipment that has been assigned to them for the task.
- Complete stock takes and daily ordering of packaging materials and consumables.
- Ensure the requirements of the company HACCP and AQA Quality manual are adhered to at all times.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in leading an operational team.
- Experience working within an FMCG and/or 3PL environment will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
