Our MakeSafe team consists of highly trained staff and a specialist trade network that take pride in protecting damaged residential and commercial properties making it possible for State Emergency Services to access accident areas safely.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Manage task scheduling & job progress from start to finish in an efficient & cost-effective manner with a strong focus on quality
- Manage subcontractor scope & quality of works
- Manage & lead our contractors to achieve quality works to specific deadlines
- Troubleshoot & validate variations where applicable
- Build relationships with customers, clients & subcontractors
- Source sub-contractors to build on existing trade base
- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all parties are kept well informed
- Work with other team members & business units to achieve targets & budgets
- Travel across multiple locations within the Sydney Metro region
- Assist in prompt & effective complaint resolution
- Compiling digital job reports for our clients
- Weekly project updates including detailed descriptions on progress of projects & cost reporting

- Hands-on Building Trade / Construction Labouring experience required
- Excellent communication/customer service skills - both written & verbal
- Demonstrated negotiation & analytical skills
- Ability to work in changing work environments
- Strong time management & organisational skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
- Honest nature, positive attitude & sound work ethic
- Computer literacy
- Current & valid motor vehicle licence
