**The role**:
Supporting the Treatment Plants Delivery manager, this position will responsible for the delivery of major projects at South East Water, with the primary focus on the Western Port Region. You will take the lead on the management of major upgrades through the project lifecycle.
Key accountabilities will be, but not limited to:

- Manage the overall program of works for the Western Port Region
- Manage projects through the full project planning and delivery lifecycle
- Plan and select the delivery model tailored to meet the project objectives and needs
- Collate and prepare all project documentation for procurement and delivery, and manage external partners (consultants) to assist with this work
- Manage the development of the project contract,
- Manage the procurement process from planning handover to contract award
- Manage the commercial contracts in place for delivery of the projects
- Manage and maintain detailed project information, report on project costs, undertake financial and schedule forecasting, and review and assess claims and variations
- Ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time and budget, and to the intent of the design and specifications and contract
- Manage, monitor and audit construction of projects

**Who are you?**:
To be successful in this position, you must have extensive experience in a similar role, along with;
- Relevant engineering qualifications, and significant delivery experience
- CPEng or equivalent
- Extensive understanding and knowledge in treatment plant infrastructure
- Experience in a range of delivery models and contracts, with a strong collaborative mind set for performance based relationship contracting
- High level design experience
- Understand commercial contracts
- Excellent negotiation skills, and strong written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated strong project management skills, with demonstrated leadership and a high level of personal motivation
