**Your day as an Associate Director**
The **Women’s Economic Outcomes Team** at Treasury NSW has been instrumental in embedding gender equality and economic empowerment across the state. Current work includes implementing a range of gender responsive budgeting tools and practices to ensure gender equality considerations are embedded into government decision-making and resource allocation processes. Innovative policy development and targeted initiatives, include supporting the role out of the _Gender Impact Assessment Policy_, which requires agencies to consider how a proposed policy, program or project may have different impacts on people based on their gender; this includes women, men and gender diverse people.
Proactively building robust relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders is paramount, as is your contribution to improving the delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication, collaboration, and advocacy with Treasury teams and agency counterparts.
You will be joining our **Policy and Budget Group** and will be working within the **Strategy, Delivery and Reviews Division**. Read more about your future Group and Division.

- Ability and experience providing social policy and economic advice to enhance women’s economic outcomes and gender equality.
- Experience in conducting research that critically assess economic and financial data.
- Demonstrated leadership and negotiate skills and the ability to influence and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and strategy skills.
- Knowledge of NSW Government policies and programs, or the ability to develop this understanding.
- Experience in leading, motivating and managing a cohesive and high performing team of professionals.
