The Communities Division is seeking a permanent Assistant Director to contribute to the development and implementation of work within the Office for Women and other divisional portfolios. This is your opportunity to directly contribute to the thinking and programs that will drive positive change across the ACT community.

As an Assistant Director, you will play a key role undertaking complex tasks and shaping whole of government policy and programs. You will work across the Community Services Directorate, ACT Government and community stakeholders to identify and strengthen policies, programs and initiatives

that contribute to a connected, equitable and inclusive Canberra.

The interdisciplinary nature of the work means you are a ‘big picture’ thinker, with the ability to link information from different sources. You can also produce high-quality written documents and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
