Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Assistant Director on a contract for 3 months with potential extension.
**Position Overview**
As the Assistant Director you will provide a key support role to the Director of Quality Management Risk, Review and Response. The role will work collaboratively across all levels with internal and external staff and agencies, you will:
As part of the QMRRR leadership team, under broad direction:
- Review and assess each case currently with the Government Solicitors Office (GSO) and provide a case summary, identifying background, current status, liability, risk and Housing ACT Position.
- As required coordinate and prepare Housing ACT instructions to the GSO
- Develop and implement SOPs in relation to such matters
- Review workload and required capacity and capability to ensure the Positions within the team are correctly recruited to.
- Work collaboratively and create partnerships to achieve the goals of Housing ACT in the provision of social housing and community services in the ACT.
- Understand and work within the ACTPS Code of Conduct and ACTPS values of respect, integrity, collaboration and innovation, and model behaviour consistent with the ACTPS Respect Equity and Diversity framework;

**Knowledge**
- Sound understanding of and experience with business-critical systems, data and reporting requirements.
- Proven experience in problem-solving, with the demonstrated ability to make sound judgements on sensitive, complex and competing issues.
- Well-developed project management capability, including managing the establishment of robust plans, managing and reporting on progress, mitigating risk and realising benefits.

- Work collaboratively and create partnerships to achieve the goals of Housing ACT in the provision of social housing and community services in the ACT.
