**The Coordinator External Services will**:

- Liaise with staff responsible for acquisition of external services.
- Understand and oversee the contractual obligations of each service provider, including reporting requirements.
- Support service providers and correctional centre representatives to provide meaningful offender services that support desistance from offending.
- Participate in regular service delivery reviews and audit service activities to ensure that activities being undertaken by the service providers align with the contract specifications.
- Liaise with providers and correctional centres to proactively identify and resolve issues and risks.
- Maintain minutes/records, registers and spreadsheets regarding all contract and performance data and meetings/review processes.
- Manage and utilise data in excel and other software packages to monitor the outcomes of contracted services and provide timely progress reports to the Manager and Director.
- Provide support and advice to the Manager and Director to effectively manage and support the delivery of efficient and effective offender services.
- Act as a primary contact point for and maintain regular communication with service providers with an emphasis on providing feedback regarding outcome achievements and compliance with contract specifications.
- Assist service providers to ensure accurate data is reported to QCS.
- Advise and support service providers and correctional centre staff to promote continuous program innovation and improvement.
- Provide advice on emerging risks relating to program delivery and prioritise workload accordingly.
- Maintain own current knowledge of legislation, policy and procedures in relation to offender services.
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships, including Custodial Operations, Ethical Standards and Intelligence and Investigations Branch.
- Provide timely advice to key stakeholders relating to developments in the offender services.
- Understand and appropriately manage sensitive information related to contract management.
