**About the role**
QIC’s Client Solutions & Capital team is currently recruiting a Marketing & External Communication Advisor to support and contribute to the development of communication and marketing strategy and activities for QIC’s Real Estate team.
The primary objectives for this role are to deliver the overarching QIC communication strategy and plans, particularly with respect to QIC’s real estate capability, and to reinforce and further build QIC’s reputation as a leading institutional investor. You will support the development of proactive and reactive communications material, including client communications, marketing documents, media statements, and issues management communications as required.
In addition to the above, key deliverables for this role include:

- Work with key internal stakeholders to prepare external communication plans for issues and initiatives that have the potential to impact reputation.
- Assist in executing an ongoing content pipeline across a range of formats and channels, aligned to overarching marketing and communication strategies and plans, including taking lead accountability for key elements within specific projects and/or campaigns.
- Play a lead role in the coordination and execution of stakeholder engagement events including meetings, workshops, conferences and forums, including those hosted by QIC and by external providers.
- Support development of key messaging to articulate QIC’s unique market proposition as a leading real estate investor.
- Support in the delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of communication output on digital platforms.

**About You**
To be successful in this role, your demonstrable level of experience in a Communications and/or Marketing role with Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Journalism.
Your previous experience will be highly regarded spanning across key areas such as:

- Highly developed organisational and time management skills, including an ability to coordinate tasks and work to many competing deadlines with inputs from multiple stakeholders
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, with particular strengths in writing for a range of platforms and audiences
- Demonstrated experience in corporate event management and coordination
- Minimum intermediate MS office suite abilities, particularly Word and PowerPoint, and a keen eye for attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A drive to seek continuous professional improvement and development
