TEN Recruitment are working with one of WA’s largest home building companies who now have a new opportunity for a Scheduling Manager to join their team. Leading the scheduling department this is a great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic senior scheduler or lead scheduler to join a well known and reputable company and take the reins and lead the scheduling team.

This is a full-time permanent position, based in Osborne Park.

Your new role would see you assume responsibility for the scheduling functions of the business.

Overall responsibilities include:

- Ensure the Scheduling Department functions seamlessly
- Ensure KPIs are met and industry standards are met and exceeded
- Implement systems to ensure the scheduling team operate efficiently scheduling jobs within acceptable timeframes, providing accurate outputs with limited overruns
- Implement procedures to ensure jobs and orders are consistently scheduled on time with mínimal errors. Ensure jobs are locked and a mínimal portion of the construction pipeline is unlocked at any time
- Liaise with the Estimating Manager regularly to ensure the two functions operate cohesively
- Liaise with Senior Management to provide updates and reports on the activities of the Scheduling Team
- Liaise with and support the Construction Team on site providing smoothly and clear two way communication channel. Monitor extras to reduce surplus and waste on site
- Liaise with and suppliers, actively negotiating as required
- Identify new or upgrades to software packages which could be valuable to the Scheduling Team and assist in the implementation of these
- Review team members performance and assist the manager to recruit and hire new team members
- Create and foster a positive work environment and team culture
- Identify opportunities for training team members and champion a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- At least 5 years residential scheduling experience for single and double storey residential housing, with at least two years in a senior/ manager role
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

This is a permanent position with a great salary package. Based in Osborne Park close to public transport aswell as a range of parking options close by.
