Operating across the future energy, power generation, oil and gas and industrial sectors, we work closely with our customers to optimise the reliability, efficiency and whole of life costs of their assets and facilities. **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support our operations within our Industrial and Energy business in Perth. This role will prepare schedules for capital works projects, ensuring the required capabilities are attainable within timeframe and monitor and maintain project schedules. They shall ensure milestones are met and provide engineering data and support to the engineering management team for the scope of work. **About You** - Relevant Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar planning position; Mechanical / Electrical experience desirable - A minimum of 2 years’ experience developing project schedules from baseline to set package of work - Ability to analyse Project Status/delays - Knowledge of Extension of time claims and cost control - Competent in Microsoft Project Excel, Microsoft Project and experienced with Primavera P6 planning software - Produce "S" curves, Histograms, tabulated man hour/progress data - High attention to detail, information process and problem solving capability - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - High levels of motivation and excellent time management as well as organisational skills - A flexible and adaptable approach to changing demands within the business and - A proven capability working within the engineering contracting sector servicing the resources, energy or infrastructure industries **What We Offer** - Employee benefits including health and wellness initiatives - Personalised career development and growth working with an industry leading team. - Competitive remuneration package - Safety focused culture working within in leading services industry - Management support coupled with ongoing training and mentoring - Career enhancing opportunity to work within an ASX limited company - Downer is made up of more than 33,000 people who are all different.
