Ashurst Advance Reach is an integral part of the firm's NewLaw division, Ashurst Advance. Our focus is solving our clients' business problems through optimal efficiency, cost effectiveness and digitally innovative legal service delivery.

**The Opportunity**:

- 6 month contract (minimum period)
- Full-time
- Sydney based - you will work on a hybrid basis, being available for key meetings in person as required
- This is an opportunity to use your experience in complex commercial contracts with a well-established Commercial legal team

**Skills and Experience needed**:

- You will be confident dealing with complex commercial contracts and have a proven track record in high-value, complex contracts from an in-house perspective or in private practice
- Public sector experience will be valuable
- You are able to lead and manage negotiations and draft complex contracts
- You have strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- A minimum of 7 years experience
- Knowledge of government procurement frameworks would be well regarded
- Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in your clients as they deal with challenging issues
- A commercial, can do attitude with an ability to integrate into a team and build relationships quickly
- The ability to rapidly understand and adapt to the needs of the business
- A current practising certificate (or the ability to get one immediately)
