This temporary, full-time position is available a period of 12 months, commencing 23 January 2025 until 12 December 2025, with the possibility of extension. About the School Located 16kms North West of Brisbane's CBD, Patricks Road State School caters for just over 800 students from Prep to Year 6. Our school is nestled in an adjoining conservation park, with magnificent flora and fauna at our door step. About the Role As the Principal, responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following: - Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning and improved educational outcomes for all students. - Uphold values-based, ethical leadership. - Promote socially just practices in daily school life. - Set high standards for student and staff performance. - Engage in lifelong learning and professional development. - Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business. - Be future-oriented and strategic. - Understand policies and legislation affecting the department. - Manage department resources to achieve goals.
