About Graceville State School
Graceville State School opened in 1928 and has a proud history of growth and achievement. These achievements have been recognised at state, national and international level. Our latest academic results are available on this site, while these results are outstanding, it is important to recognise that they are achieved through a school community working together.
Graceville State School is a Prep to Year 6 primary school situated in the south-western suburbs of metropolitan Brisbane, 8km from the Brisbane CBD. The present enrolment is approximately 760 students.Graceville State School celebrates the integral role parents, staff and the wider community all play in promoting a safe, challenging environment that not only achieves academic results but also prepares students for their future.
About the Role
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
