General Hand

**Description**:
THE OPPORTUNITY
Following the successful launch of Swing City late last year, Mulpha Hospitality are currently seeking a casual General Hand to join the team.
Swing City is a multi-million-dollar entertainment and hospitality destination including 40 golf bays equipped with state-of-the-art technology, a licensed restaurant with outdoor alfresco dining, corporate function and entertainment facilities, mini-golf and amusements.
This is a casual role offering from 20-30 hours per week. You will work closely with our full-time Facilities Manager to ensure an ongoing safe operating environment for our staff and guests and perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the venue.
Successful applicants will have experience servicing and maintaining plant equipment in a safe and timely manner and be able to work flexibly across weekends.
RESPONSIBILITES
Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the venue, across all plant and equipment.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance across the venue’s assets.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure all technical issues are rectified in a timely manner.
Maintain all WH&S rules and regulations in the delivery of your role, as well as ensuring a safe venue for colleagues and guests.
Provide supervision and coordination of site contractors.
Ensure the effective implementation of all policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU
Significant experience in the maintenance and general handyperson arena
Experience working across multi-faceted venues, with varying equipment and technology experiences.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work successfully with third party suppliers.
Trade qualification in a technical discipline desirable but not essential
Ability to work across the venues open hours including nights, weekend and public holidays
