**About the role**:
An opportunity for **one (1**) x WorkCover Consultant** to be part of our **Heath, Safety and Wellbeing Division**.

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Division endeavours to provide services that will ensure a safe and well-supported workforce. Aiming to proactively support our people to reduce and mitigate the risk of illness or injury. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to supporting employees.

This recently vacated role within an established team, will support ill and injured Victoria Police employees throughout the WorkCover claim and compensation process. Utilising your excellent customer service skills, you will provide quality, timely service and support through the administration and coordination for claims, including processing of compensation transactions in accordance with _Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013_**_ _**and Victoria Police policies and procedures.

**Your duties will include**:

- Provide a high level of customer services to ill/injured employees, managers and Victoria Police's workers' compensation Agent in the administration of workers compensation claims.
- Process, record, monitor and manage workers compensation claims and entitlements in accordance with relevant legislation, Victoria Police policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders offering professional advice and advocating best practice in accordance with relevant legislation and Victoria Police policies, guidelines and procedures.

**As the successful applicant, you will have**:

- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy within a high-volume setting.
- The ability to prioritise work and meet strict timelines.
- Working knowledge of the _Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013_ and the competency to interpret relevant enterprise agreements, policies and procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

**Requirements and relevant information**:
