**About the Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advisor, People and Culture to join our Brisbane Corporate Office, located in Brisbane’s Central Business District.

The Advisor, People and Culture is responsible for assisting with the operational delivery of people and culture services and support to staff. The Advisor, People and Culture will work with managers and staff, to identify, develop and implement solutions across a range of human resource functions including employee and industrial relations, performance management and policy development. The Advisor, People and Culture is also responsible for delivering strategic people and culture initiatives and projects as part of the broader people and culture strategic plan.

Full-time, permanent Position Available.

**About You**

To be successful, you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or similar
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (highly desirable)
- Solid experience as a Human Resource Generalist, preferably in a medium to large organisation
- Sound knowledge of industrial relations/employee relations practices and legislation
- Extensive knowledge of Human Resources legislation
- Demonstrated experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening
- A National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain
- Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with stakeholders
- Experience in dealing with difficult stakeholders where empathy and discretion is required.
- Knowledge encompassing Operational OH&S.
- An understanding of and complete commitment to Confidentiality
- Highly developed community relations skills
- Working knowledge of JDE, Kronos and Oracle software (desirable)
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence (highly desirable)
