We're looking for a People & Culture Advisor who's a true generalist. You'll be ready to work across the full employee experience remit, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, payroll advice, and award interpretation.

If you enjoy variety, can adapt quickly, and want to see the direct impact of your work across an operational workforce, this role will give you the scope you're after. You may be an experienced HR Coordinator ready for the next step, or an Advisor looking for more breadth and variety.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with managers on end-to-end recruitment and onboarding.
  • Provide support and mentorship to our People & Culture Administrator.
  • Provide clear, practical HR advice to managers and employees.
  • Support performance management, workplace investigations, and return-to-work processes.
  • Advise on payroll changes and ensure accurate implementation.
  • Interpret awards and legislation, and explain them in plain language.
  • Keep HR systems, records, and documentation accurate and compliant.
  • Contribute to People & Culture projects that improve how our people and managers experience Platinum Blasting Services.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience in a generalist or advisory HR role (blue-collar/mining experience highly regarded)
  • Strong award interpretation skills and knowledge of employment legislation
  • Experience providing payroll-related advice and ensuring accurate processing
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, from site supervisors to senior leaders
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • AbIlity to tailor your approach and communication to suit your stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
