**Your new company**
This Government agency is responsible for delivering policies and programmes that support the Australian Community. This multi-locational agency will put you in the heart of city centres with easy access to public transport and great amenities. Due to natural attrition there is a current need for Complaints Officers with a strong emphasis on delivering a positive impact within the Australian community.

**Your new role**
Are you calm under pressure, and able to defuse tense situations?

As a complaints officer, you will be working with a wider team, and you will be responsible for developing guidance materials and support processes for your team and the wider agency. Managing complaints will be your bread and butter and you will be ensuring that complaints are handled, actioned and resolved in a timely manner. As well as this you will also:

- Produce quality written work for a range of audiences
- Support the team's day to day issues to ensure the team's objectives are met
- Manage the teams correspondence, briefing and reporting needs

As you will be engaging and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, well-developed communication skills with the ability to foster professional relationships whilst building rapport and trust is a must.
