**About West Coast Bus Charters**

WCBC has over 10 years’ experience in the charter bus industry providing charter bus solutions for schools, general charter, mining and cooperate clients. Our Fleet is made up of over 40 vehicles of every requirement from a 4 seater luxury car to a 85 seater articulated bus we have every charter covered. We are 100% locally owned and operated and are one of WA’s fastest growing bus companies.

**The Role**

Based in Malaga, we are looking to appoint an Customer Service / Bookings Officer to join our bookings team. We are looking for someone who stands out from the rest, that has a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment. Every day is different and brings about a new challenge. We require someone who is quick thinking, can problem solve and has strong administrative skills. They need to work well in a team but also as an individual.

**The role will include but not be limited to**:

- Answering phones to liaise with customers to quote jobs and answer queries.
- Take job bookings and enter into system, using custom allocation and data dispatch software.
- Ensure timely manner of job allocation in consultation with the other operations team members.
- Liaise with drivers via telephone as required.

**To be successful for the position the following skills must be demonstrated**:

- Customer service skills with prior experience in transport and logistics or similar
- Using initiative and resourcefulness to find solutions for customers
- Ability to manage and resolve disputes
- Excellent knowledge of the Perth metro and regional areas.
- Excellent time management skills
- High level of computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to prioritise, organize and dispatch jobs in a busy environment.
- Provide administrative support in other departments once trained.
- Drivers Licence is essential
- Ability to work independently
