**About the role**
The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day.
In partnership with Ocado we are in the process of delivering a brand new state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in NSW. Harnessing the latest technology this site will offer a wider range to our customers and safter, cleaner environment for our staff. As this site ramps up we have an opportunity for an experienced Training Specialist to join the team.
**What you’ll be doing**
In partnership with the Training Manage you will support with the development and implementation of a detailed annual training plan. Ensuring that team members are empowered through a combination of mandatory and optional training programs.
Other ways you can make an impact include:
- you will prepare training documentation and help implement across site, coaching shift leaders on their training responsibilities
- keep accurate training records and ensure site leadership are maintaining accurate records
- support with coordination of all site induction programs and ensure that all new team members are compliant on all aspects of training
- continually monitor and update training materials, accounting for seasonal activities
- be a champion for safety on site being available for consultancy and drive a positive culture for team members
- be a representative for people and culture on site including team engagement, recognition and reward
**Good things you’ll need**
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for coaching and developing. Who can deliver important training materials in an engaging way.
- coaching and leadership experience is essential
- certificate IV in workplace training and assessment
- demonstrated experience in assessing training needs and the ability to develop and annual training plan
- have a high level of organisational skills with a focus on planning, ensuring key deadlines are met
- strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, being able to manage expectations to senior management
- advanced computer skills with the ability to produce materials and develop training information
