The **purpose of this role** is to manage claims in accordance with policy conditions / department service standards. Key areas of responsibility are:

- Advising clients, brokers and account management staff on all claims matters
- Claims Assessments - interpret policy wording and review of circumstances
- Progress Claims - Advocating settlement of claims to the client’s best advantage
- Asses, investigate and negotiate with clients complex claims matters
- Working with Claims Leaders in providing structured solutions to clients and brokers
- Review complex claims, assist clients with dispute resolution including IDR & EDR (AFCA)

**We are seeking a driven, experienced**professional with a willingness to partner with brokers and claims teams who has had exposure to Insurance or Financial Services and:

- Client servicing experience including front line client facing interactions
- Strong business acumen and understanding of connection with Claims and Claims lodgement
- Knowledge of Insurance products and markets for commercial / SME industry segments
- Demonstrates strong client advocacy skills/experience
- Ability to maintain and develop business relationships with new/existing clients and underwriting partners
