The purpose of this role is to manage claims in accordance with policy conditions / department service standards. Key areas of responsibility are: 

Advising clients, brokers and account management staff on all claims matters Claims Assessments – interpret policy wording and review of circumstances Progress Claims – Advocating settlement of claims to the client's best advantage Asses, investigate and negotiate with clients on non-straightforward claims Working with Claims Leaders in providing structured solutions to clients and brokersReview complex claims, assist clients with dispute resolution including IDR & EDR (AFCA)

We are seeking a driven, experienced professional with a willingness to partner with brokers and claims teams who has had exposure to Insurance or Financial Services and:

Client servicing experience including front line client facing interactions Strong business acumen and understanding of connection with Claims and Claims lodgement Knowledge of Insurance products and markets for commercial / SME industry segments Demonstrates strong client advocacy skills/experienceAbility to maintain and develop business relationships with new/existing clients and underwriting partners
