**About the team**:
In partnership with Ocado we are in the process of delivering a brand-new state-of-the-art customer fulfilment centre in Sydney. Harnessing the latest technology this site will offer a wider range to our customers and safter, cleaner environment for our staff. To support this project, we have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join the team

**About the role**:
You will lead and manage all elements of the quality control process for our brand-new customer fulfilment centre, ensuring that all products meet both regulatory and Coles high food standards requirements. As a member of this pioneering new team, you will help drive a great customer experience. You will also:

- Manage the process for fresh product quality inspections across all chilled streams and working with our inventory teams and suppliers to ensure our product quality is upheld
- Work with operational leaders across the site to ensure that quality process and procedures are being followed. Being a champion for a quality focused culture
- In a unique fulfilment centre be an advocate for safe storage, handling and distribution. Coaching team members on correct safety procedures in line with policy
- As a member of the optimisation and inventory team assist in achieving Coles key metrics on safety, sustainability, team engagement and our customer experience
- Drive a customer focused culture across all departments of the operation ensuring Coles Online customers receive ‘the perfect order’ each time.

**About you and your skills**:
We’re looking for an experienced Quality professional who relishes working within a fast-paced fresh product environment. You will also have:

- Appropriate technical qualification or diploma relevant to quality control
- Experience using quality management and food safety systems is advantageous
- Ability to carry out thorough routine testing with an eye for detail and ensuring that Quality is maintained at high standards
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment, whilst ensuring key deliverables are met
- Successful track record of working collaboratively with operations leaders in supply chain to improve quality outcomes for customers
- Experience in governance with ability to write reports and articulate process
- Experience managing an end-to-end product quality improvement program would be advantageous.
