We are currently searching for two Construction Supervisors**, 1 x Terrace Supervisor **and** **1 x Residential Housing Supervisor on the Sunshine Coast.**

Ausmars’ Construction Supervisors are responsible for the organisation and production of a build site, managing all aspects of the construction process. As a Construction Supervisor you are required to co-ordinate and manage all trades required for the build, ensuring the work completed is of a high quality that aligns with the Ausmar standard.

The Construction Supervisor is accountable for all projects being delivered in the most efficient and effective manner. The supervisor will ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery, compliant with relevant authority’s legislation.

To be successful in this role, the supervisor should possess great attention to detail and have strong knowledge of building codes, and construction safety regulations. Furthermore, Construction Supervisors should have superior skills interpreting building plans and show strong leaderships, communication, and problem-solving skills.

**Reporting to the Construction Manager, your role will include**:

- Accomplish project results by ensuring the build follows provided documentation
- Scheduling and coordinating sub-contractors and materials
- Manage sub-contractors evaluating site performance and maintain trade relationships
- Monitor and adhere to all WHS requirements
- Manage post completion defects
- Ensuring sites and contractors comply with local council codes and laws
- Meet operational standards by completing and maintaining operating scheduling programs.
- Completing site specific checklist inspections and provide current construction update information to project stake holders.
- Meet construction budgets by monitoring project expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Authorising contractor and supplier invoice payments, documenting and managing cost recovery.
- Ensuring all invoices are acknowledged and dealt with in required time frame liaising with the Accounts department to resolve issues.
- Ensuring variation procedures are adhered to achieve variation outcome.
- Maintaining and reporting on vehicle and associated work tool resources provided (ensure to address maintenance requirements or vehicles and tools).
- QBCC Supervisors licence (minimum)
- Safety Card
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- 3 + years in a Construction Supervisor or Carpentry role
- A strong understanding of building and WHS regulations
- Experience in managing projects
- IT and administration skills
- Strong understanding of and proven time management and prioritisation skills
- Superior interpersonal skills
