Human Resource Manager

Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding Customer Contact and Service business, looking for a HR manager to help build their human resources foundations. Post the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been able to redesign the traditional call centre customer service model to a new hybrid of individual agents across Australia and globally, with an “anti-overtime” business ethos.
Having recently won several major client contracts, they are now in the process of scaling up and transforming both their local presence and their globally distributed service operation. Currently taking on board 60 onshore staff, the business is scaling an additional division of 200 distributed offshore agents, with the possibility of growing by an additional 1,000 seats early to mid-next year.
In this role you will:
- Develop the Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
- Develop HR policies and practices to guide the local operation
- Build a HR and Talent team from the ground up, in line with their client acquisition strategy
- Support the business in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
- Champion the onboarding process, ensuring the process is up to date and of high quality, providing clarity and connection for all employees and their role in relation to the overall vision
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities
- Provide oversight and support for team building and social initiatives.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment and selection process
- Review, develop and implement best practice HR systems.
- Provide general human resources advice and support to management and staff regarding contemporary human resources and industrial relations practices, systems and procedures.
To be suitable for this role, you may have some of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management or a related field
- Proven experience and knowledge of the end-to-end recruitment process
- A willingness and enthusiasm to work across the business at all levels
- Experience providing HR support in a call centre environment is a plus
- You’re entrepreneurial and creative. You will get a kick out of looking at a fresh problem and coming up with your own solution
- You are willing and excited to be the HR leader of a scale-up, reporting to the Head Of for the region and the CEO
