Civil Infrastructure Group are seeking an highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our team.
Civil Infrastructure Group was founded in early 2016 to provide specialist Subcontracting services in the Construction of reinforced and post-tension concrete structures working across major Projects like the West Gate Tunnel and the majority of Level Crossing Removal Projects.

As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for the following key areas:
**Strategy Development and Evaluation**: Develop, implement, monitor, review, and evaluate human resource management strategies, policies, and plans in alignment with our business needs. Continuously analyse and refine these strategies to ensure they remain effective and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
**Performance Management**: Design and implement robust performance management systems that facilitate effective planning, appraisal, and improvement of individual and team performance. Foster a culture of continuous development and achievement by providing the necessary tools and feedback to enhance employee performance.
**Employee Relations and Negotiations**:Serve as the representative of the organisation during negotiations with unions and employees. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine fair remuneration and employment conditions that strike a balance between employee satisfaction and organisational objectives.
**Compliance and Workplace Programs**: Develop and implement occupational health and safety programs and equal employment opportunity programs to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Safeguard the well-being of our employees and foster an inclusive work environment.
**Cost Management and Productivity**:Monitor and analyse employment costs and productivity levels to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to optimise resource allocation and enhance overall productivity within the organisation.
**Training and Advisory Support**: As needed, provide training and advice to other managers on personnel and workplace relations matters. Ensure adherence to HR policies and regulations while promoting positive employee relations.
**Skills needed -**
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or 5 years working experience in a similar role. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Proven experience in human resources management or a similar HR leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of human resource management principles, practices, and relevant employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with organisational goals.
- Strong experience in recruitment, selection, and talent management processes.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing performance management systems.
- Sound understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and equal employment opportunity programs.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively.
**Salary**: $100K -130k +11% Super
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
