Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day? We’re looking for a warm, organised and proactive **Administration Officer** to be the welcoming face of our Greenslopes team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, providing compassionate support and seamless administrative service that helps deliver exceptional care.

Reporting to the Administration Manager, you’ll work closely with a dedicated team to ensure every patient, carer and colleague feels supported from the moment they walk through our doors.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Greeting patients and assisting with personal detail collection and data entry
- Scheduling appointments with care and precision
- Handling phone enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Processing patient billing, including Medicare and Private Health claims
- Tracking and supporting each patient’s administrative care journey
- Managing and maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting our WHS Officers and committees with their responsibilities
- Living and promoting Icon’s values in everything you do

**About You**:
You’re an experienced **Medical Receptionist or Administrator** who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. You bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping others. If you're someone who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and enjoys being part of a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with Medicare, DVA and Private Health Insurance processes
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Clear and confident communication - both written and verbal
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel
- A commitment to excellent client service
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
