Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

We are currently seeking a **Civil Leading Hand** to join the team, reporting to the Construction Superintendent. Based mostly in the Northwest but able to work across all of the Sydney Water sites in the North Region (as described above), you will be provided a fully maintained vehicle, fuel card and eTag. For this role we require experience in Earthworks, Plant Operator Tickets and VOCs and preferably have experience in reading plans. Assist the Supervisor in taking control of the work site.

THE ROLE
- Provide direction to the crew
- Supervision of Sub-Contractors
- Schedule and plan daily works in conjunction with the Site Supervisor
- Monitor compliance with safety guidelines and policies
- Organising of plant and machinery
- Establish and implement work schedules to meet project deadlines
- Implementing and supervising site safety

ABOUT YOU
- Earthworks and Pipe laying experience
- Truck License
- Plant Operator experience
- Excellent work ethic
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Work well in a team and independently
- Excellent leadership skills
- Highly motivated and organised
- Can follow authority and industry standards
- Easily adapt to different working conditions
