**Confluence Water Pty Ltd,** Ventia, Downer EDI and Jacobs joint venture, has been announced as one of three consortia to deliver services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water will deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire. This is a 10-year contract and as part of this contract Ventia are committed to developing people within local communities.

Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

We are seeking for a reliable and responsible **Cleaner Lead Hand** to join Confluence Water. This is a permanent, part-time position, working the evening shift from 6:00 to 10:00pm based in West Ryde, NSW.

**The Role**
- Acting as an agent of change so that the business is continually improving its safety systems so that opportunities for improvement are recognised and actioned
- Undertaking HSE inspections and audits as directed by Regional Supervisor
- Identifying and managing hazards and communicating them to team members
- Ensuring the cleaners have and are using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to do the job required
- Ensuring team members are competent to use the particular piece of plant / tool / equipment needed to complete their tasks safely
- Assisting with on the job training, ensuring that team members are able to carry out the assigned job through to delivering a high quality service
- Always ensure work areas are kept tidy and presentable and maintain a high standard of professionalism by displaying initiative, drive and a positive commitment to our customers.
- To deliver Cleaning Services as instructed so that they comply with and meet expectations from clients, communities, customers, environmental management requirements, SWC Specifications and any legislative requirements,
- Comply with quality, safety, environmental, technical procedures, work instructions, relevant standards and practices as required..
- Notify Cleaning Supervisors of any requests for additional cleaning on site.

**About You**
- Previous experience in delivering cleaning services in a corporate or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols and procedures
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s licence
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen or have an unrestricted work VISA
