**About the role**
- MYOB’s People Data Analyst plays an important role in using data to drive strategic decisions related to our most valuable asset: our people. You will focus on maintaining several critical dashboards, as well as exploring new data sourcing and insights that support PX initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the company. This role sits at the intersection of data science, people experience and business strategy, requiring a blend of analytical skills, HR knowledge and critical thinking.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop, maintain, and improve PowerBI dashboards tailored for specific teams, including Executive Leadership, People Leaders and the Remuneration team.
- Collaborate with the People teams to analyse people data, identifying trends, and providing strategic insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement within the organisation.
- Craft compelling narratives around data insights, translating sophisticated findings into actionable recommendations for different team members.
- Stay updated on industry standard methodologies, new technologies, and advancements in data visualization tools to continuously improve PowerBI dashboard capabilities.
- Train and mentor team members on building a strong narrative around data findings, improving their ability to convey insights persuasively.

**The skills you'll need**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or a related field; preferably specialising in People Analytics.
- Experience in data analysis, preferably in a HR or people analytics role.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and data visualisation using tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Experience working in data lakes (e.g. Snowflake Microsoft, AWS or Google) as well as with legacy data warehouses such as SQL databases.
- Understanding of HR processes, metrics, and standard methodologies.
- Proven record of working independently, prioritising tasks, and balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
