**Quality Officer**

**The Role**: The opportunity is for an experienced Quality Officer /Quality Administrator to join an Australian-owned, industry-leading company. Play a key role in ensuring that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards.

**Job Title**: Quality Officer

**Company**: Australian-owned, Specialising in the distribution and service of quality measurement instrumentation to the Oil & Gas industry

**Location**: Main office based in Burwood, Melbourne

**Salary**: $70k - $80k plus super

**Reports to**: General Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Development and implementation of quality control procedures, standards, and systems
- Conducting inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality is integrated throughout the organization.
- Assist with training of employees
- Communication with external customers and suppliers
- Provide feedback to the GM on companies quality control procedures
- Identify areas of improvement for quality control

**Key Requirements**:

- Qualification in a relatable field
- Experience in quality control/quality assurance processes
- Experience in Oil & Gas quality standards and regulations (or relatable industry)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 are essential
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of pressurized instruments/valves/pumps is highly desired
- Ability to travel to the different offices located in Melbourne when required.
