The Office is tasked with a significant responsibility: bringing together a holistic, connected system for early childhood development across South Australia, with the goal of reducing the rate of children entering school developmental vulnerable. Critical to this is the roll-out of universal 3-year-old preschool from 2026, giving every child access to 2 years of teacher-led, play-based early learning before school.

**About this role**:
This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting large-scale change that will positively shape outcomes for children and families across the state. As the **Business Services Coordinator**, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and efficient business support to the **Change and Engagement Division**. This includes providing tailored support to meet operational needs, facilitating the implementation of corporate policies, and supporting divisional teams spread across South Australia. Your role will involve managing a variety of business functions such as accommodation planning, financial processing, procurement, work health and safety, and more.

Working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure the smooth operation of local teams, support business improvement initiatives, and contribute to the effective delivery of early childhood reforms. Through these efforts, you will contribute to building a high-performing and compliant division that supports the broader goals of early childhood development across the state.

Key responsibilities:

- **Policy and Procedure Development**: Work closely with Corporate Services to identify gaps and contribute to the development of operational policies, ensuring their alignment with Change and Engagement objectives.
- **Business Operations Support**:Tailor and administer corporate policies to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness. Assist with business operations, process improvements, and reporting.
- **Administrative and Process Support**: Provide high-quality administrative assistance across the division, ensuring that local teams in metro, regional, and remote areas receive timely and effective business support.
- **Accommodation and Facilities Management**: Coordinate accommodation planning and address issues in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to foster collaboration and ensure successful project outcomes.
- **Work Health and Safety**: Help maintain a safe and healthy working environment by proactively addressing hazards and reporting incidents.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

**Additional Note**:
This is a full-time 2 term contract role (1.0 FTE) until June 2027.

**Remuneration**:
ASO6 $98,478 -$104,165 (1.0 FTE) per annum, plus superannuation.
