**About the Team**

The Procurement Team are a growing and supportive team. You will report to the two Category Managers but also assist the Senior Procurement Manager in day to day tasks. This role will be located at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence in Redbank, Ipswich.

- The
- **Procurement Administrator** will report directly to the Procurement Category Managers and will be tasked with facilitation of the supply of critical goods and services. This will be in accordance with corporate processes and the objectives of current projects in Australia and the New Zealand.
- To review requisition orders on a daily basis to verify accuracy, terminology and specifications;
- Supplier on-boarding - Ensure new supplier documentation is correctly completed by the supplier and uploaded in a timely basis to enable the timely purchasing of goods and services;
- Convert Purchase Requisition to Purchase Orders in S4, in Concur and SAP;
- Monitor the procurement functional mailbox and contact stakeholders or procurement specialist for action or support;
- Run reports on Purchase Requisition and Purchase Orders status in all systems;
- Be able to train colleagues on how to raise a PR in S4 and trouble shoot when errors occur etc.
- Assist colleagues to raise purchase requisition documentation;
- Assist employees in understanding the procurement process, procedures, timeframes and responsibilities; Provide SAP training to staff as required;
- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests;
- Support senior members of the team with analysis and other relevant support for major tendering activities;
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and to resolve other problems Administer and facilitate the simple RFQ’s;
- Collecting supplier financial reports and co-ordinating with finance colleagues to complete regular risk analysis activities;
- Monitor procurement practices across the organisation for compliance with Procurement policies/ guidelines and provide advice on best practice to employees and suppliers;
- Prepare weekly procurement reports;
- Manage the Purchase Requisition Folder in Sharepoint to ensure approvals are progressing and expedite requisitions when required.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:

- A qualification (or working towards) in Procurement or a related field;
- A ground level knowledge of purchasing / procurement practices and procedures;
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- Proficient in general administration and data entry;
- High level organisational and prioritising skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Maintains confidentiality at all times;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels within the organisation;
- Ability to work without close supervision;
