**About the role**

We are looking for experienced instructional designers who would be interested in 3-6 months of work with the possibility of ongoing engagement.

As an integral part of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our clients and internal team members to design and develop innovative and effective learning solutions. You will contribute to creating engaging training materials that result in measurable behavior change for our clients and their target audiences.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their learning needs, objectives, and desired outcomes.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive instructional materials, including e-learning courses, simulations, videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and analyse existing content to determine the most appropriate instructional strategies and delivery methods.
- Incorporate gamification, scenario-based learning, and other innovative techniques to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Conduct formative and summative evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training solutions and make necessary improvements.

**Skills and experience**
- Proven experience as an instructional designer, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learner-centered design.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, multimedia software, and learning management systems.
- Experience working with not-for-profit organisations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
