APS 6 Training Design Officer

We're seeking a Senior Training Design Officer (APS6) for a government agency focused on building workforce capability through culturally safe and inclusive training. This role is perfect for someone with instructional design expertise and a passion for First Nations collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Design training packages using adult learning principles and inclusive practices.
Co-design materials with First Nations stakeholders to ensure cultural safety.
Develop facilitator guides, eLearning modules, and induction content.
Pilot and evaluate training programs, incorporating feedback for improvement.
Support vendor coordination and contribute to strategic workforce capability planning.
What You'll Bring
Experience in instructional design and training development.
Strong understanding of cultural safety and First Nations perspectives.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) highly desirable.
Excellent project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
Commitment to trauma-informed and inclusive learning design.
