**Your new role**
The EL1 Assistant Director Provider Engagement is an important team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. It will provide the leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for staff. The role is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Working closely with key stakeholders including other Federal Government departments, State and Local Government to address market challenges.
- Developing market capability and capacity
- Supporting the development and promotion of resources that enable market development and improving the understanding of the market environment and provider experience, market conditions and challenges.
- Supporting information sharing activities with key internal stakeholders including national office portfolios (markets, operations and communications) and other business areas.
- Implementing and supporting national engagement strategies
- Drafting and proof-reading briefs, papers, reports, and complaint responses.
- Ensuring that the customer’s internal or external needs are met; building productive relationships with high-priority customers; taking accountability for customer satisfaction and loyalty; using appropriate interpersonal techniques to prevent and resolve escalated customer complaints and regain customer confidence.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- MUST BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN
- Baseline clearance is a plus
- Experience working in engagement in a previous role
