Our growing practice is currently seeking a Trainee Dental Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team on a casual basis. Some experience is an advantage but not a necessity as training will be provided.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Clinical chair side assisting for Dentists and Oral Health Therapists for a variety of dental procedures.
- Preparing treatment rooms for daily procedures including cleaning, change-over of instrumentation and maintaining stock.
- Welcoming patients in a friendly manner and building relationships.
- Comply with the high standards of the practice regarding infection control, health and safety and maintaining confidentiality - must have great attention to detail.

**About you**:

- MUST be reliable, punctual and hard working.
- Good organisational skills and a positive attitude.
- A friendly and outgoing personality.
- Work well within a team.
- Willing to learn - must have an interest in the dental field.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.

**Overseas dentists are welcome to apply.**

This is a casual position, hours and pay rate will be discussed during interview.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 22 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
