Position Summary
As a Handyperson, you are responsible for the correct operation and maintenance of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, kitchen, and ancillary equipment, including fittings throughout the hotel are working satisfactorily.
**Role**:
Repairs and maintains all mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment in good working order throughout the hotel.
Repairs and maintains pool system, supply lines and ancillary fittings in good working order.
Ensures the kitchen and associated equipment are working properly and efficiently during the course of duties.
Carries out all work orders and repairs assigned. Effectively communicate the status of completion to ensure a quality guest experience and a defect-free service environment for both colleagues and guests.
Responsible for proper operation of the physical plant and all engineering facilities of the entire property in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance program and operation schedule.
Ensures accurate operating logs according to established policy and procedure.
Responsible for order and cleanliness of engineering areas throughout the Hotel. Ensuring that all safety rules and regulations are adhered to.
Talent Profile
Experiences in similar roles.
Hands-on experience in maintenance
Ability to work shift work on a rotational roster
Good command of written and spoken English
Valid working rights in Australia
