**CURATING ORIGINALITY TAKES TALENT**

W Sydney is now casting for a hands-on **Handyperson** for our Engineering Team to facilitate repairs and maintenance to support the engineering operations. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this integral roles provide support to the business and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the maintenance of the world’s largest W Hotel. Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Carries out urgent and non-urgent maintenance requests
- Supports the engineering team day to day operations
- Supports and drives improved guest experiences
- Assists external contractors and outsourced preventative maintenance programs
- Monitor stock levels of critical spares
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines
- Supports and innovates energy, water and waste conservation programs
- Supports fire life safety, security and asset protection at the Hotel

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum one year experience in engineering/facilities
- Hospitality experience will be advantageous
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
- EWP license advantageous
