**Join Our Team**:
We’re seeking a **Payroll Officer** to support our team on a **9-month max term contract** while a team member works on a project. While there’s no guarantee of extension, there is potential based on business needs.

**In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, compliance, and stakeholder support, all while contributing to process improvements.**

**Your Day-to-Day**:
✔ **Payroll Processing** - Accurately process payroll in line with company policies and compliance requirements.

✔ **Payroll Administration** - Complete all administrative duties related to payroll efficiently.

✔ **Compliance Support** - Ensure adherence to enterprise agreements, awards, data governance, and privacy regulations.

✔ **Process Improvement** - Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes and recommend solutions.

✔ **Stakeholder Management** - Build trusted relationships with team members and external partners.

**What You Bring**:
**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Previous payroll processing experience, ideally in a multi-site or multi-brand company
- Knowledge of Australian payroll and superannuation regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to provide meaningful insights
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

**Desirable Skills & Experience**:

- Experience working with multiple modern awards/industrial instruments
- Retail industry experience
- Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Finance (preferred)
