About the role

We have available a 6 month contract position, you will assist in payroll processing and be able to provide a high level of customer service as a first point of contact with any payroll enquiries and external parties.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Preform end to end payroll processing tasks as part of a wider team up to 12,500 team members, across Australia and New Zealand
- Work with the Senior Manager Payroll, team members and managers to resolve issues
- Ensure that payroll related records are appropriately maintained and stored, pay records and personnel files are kept up to date
- Stay up to date with all relevant Payroll legislation
- Assist in maintaining the Payroll/HR system
- Support the Senior Manager Payroll with any other payroll activities as required

About you
- Knowledge of payroll processes and practice requirements
- Working Knowledge of Australian payroll regulations
- Prior Preceda knowledge is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to engage with team members across all levels of our organization
- An ability to multitask and meet deadlines, in a busy environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and grow with the business
