**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Research Officer **to be part of our Science and Research Unit team within the Forensic Evidence and Technical Services Command. The Research Officer initiates, supervises and delivers research projects concerned with the optimisation and enhancement of all aspects of forensic services within the NSW Police Force. Using a wide array of methodologies, partnerships and motivating factors the role holder assists in ensuring FETS services remain contemporary, efficient and scientifically valid whilst cost effective supporting investigations and justice throughout NSW and beyond.

Applicants must hold a current driver’s licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six (6) months or NSW Police Force Bronze Certification.
