As we expand our portfolio in Equipment and Automation, it has become a necessity to employ an experienced Equipment Safety Officer to join our busy team who are currently undertaking major projects within the ANZ region in the following areas: food, industrial packaging, and materials handling.

This is a 6-12months contract temporary role, report directly to Equipment & Automation Director base in our Fawkner site (office base role).

You will be responsible for undertaking relevant Risk Assessments on all ONE SEE Equipment throughout the ANZ region, then work with both international and local suppliers to make recommendations to ensure we meet the appropriate safety standards for ANZ at the manufacturing stage.

The role will work closely with Equipment and Automation team in ANZ to aid in delivering customer specific equipment solutions to ensure all safety standards are being met. What are we looking for in you?
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in industrial engineering
Professional Safety Certification from notified body (ex. TUV FSE)
Minimum 5+ years of experience as machinery safety consultant or professional experience in one or several areas relating to machinery safety e.g. technology, safety-related design and construction, safety-related maintenance and repair.
Expert knowledge of ANZ Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of following standards and regulations, but not limited to:
AS/NZS 4024 Safety of machinery
AS/NZS 62061 Safety of machinery - Functional safety of safety-related electrical, electronic, and programmable electronic control systems
