**The Role**
The Contract Officer in the Business Management Unit Commercial team provides critical contract support to the C-27J Spartan, C-130J Hercules and Propulsions platforms.
The role is responsible for conducting a wide range of Commercial support functions, including but not limited to the management of the contract, contract change proposals, export controls, technical data and intellectual property, governance and assurance activities and commercial correspondence under the contract.
You will be responsible for:
- Assisting with procurement planning, contract formation and contract management activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.
- Drafting and delivering procurement and contracting documentation including templates, correspondence, reports, submissions, contract change proposals and other procurement and contract management documentation.
- Reviewing contracted services and documentation to ensure and verify correct charges and payments are applied.
- Providing advice in relation to procurement, contracting, financial and administrative policies with a strong emphasis on compliance, governance and assurance.
**About our Team**
The Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) at RAAF Base Richmond is a Business Unit within the Airlift and Tanker Systems (ATS) branch of the Aerospace Systems Division (ASD). ALSPO is the in-service support agency responsible for sustaining and enhancing the RAAF’s C-130J Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft. ALSPO, in partnership with industry, exists to support Air Mobility Group achieve its mission by providing effective sustainment support solutions.
The Business Management Unit within ALSPO is a highly capable and professional team operating in a dynamic and challenging work environment supporting Defence capability.
