Ict Systems Analyst

Our onshore team are responsible for operations and data science solutions development. We are currently seeking to enhance our on-shore capability, reducing our risk profile, and wish to develop product management, analysis and quality assurance capability in-house.

The ICT Systems Analyst will work with Leap In in our Brisbane CBD office, and collaborate heavily with our offshore delivery team. Primarily, your role is to work as the liaison between the end user stakeholders and onshore tech team, assisting to translate business requirements into technical requirements, in collaboration with the offshore business analyst, and to ensure that all software feature changes are thoroughly tested by the offshore team before release, and meet the business needs defined. You'll need an eye for detail and be process oriented.

The right person for the role will be an experienced, dynamic and proactive ICT systems analyst, with the ability to influence how the team works to achieve quality.

In the first instance the role will:

- Provide leadership on systems and quality analysis to all team members
- Liaise with business and tech team stakeholders to identify and capture feature requirements
- Liaise with delivery team analysts and technical leads to model solutions using appropriate tools such as process flows, data models, UI designs etc
- Identify internal improvement opportunities for process efficiency and experience enhancements for our staff, members and other external stakeholders
- Utilise agile methods to plan, cost, resource and manage projects
- Ensure the quality of delivered solutions, creating and implementing test strategies and testing processes, and monitoring the quality of test plans and testing activities undertaken by the offshore QA team
- Create user documentation and conduct user walkthroughs, training and supported user acceptance testing.
- Liaise with developers to ensure their understanding of requirements and to resolve potential defects
- Facilitate clarifications required between the delivery team and business stakeholders as needed on priorities, workarounds and solutions.
- Develop automated and manual test solutions to various mobile, web and integration projects
- Provide thought leadership to ensure business value defined at requirements gathering stage flows through and is realised in delivered solutions
- Work effectively with all project stakeholders
- Support processes for sign-off of testing completeness and deployment approval processes
- Support the adoption of strong quality control practices within the development team
- Report on the status of feature design and delivery.

We are looking for:

- Computer Science or ICT degree and at least 5 years’ experience
- Subject matter expert in ICT systems analysis
- Experience with test automation, tools and testing processes
- Team leader experience
- Experience in preparation of Plans, Work estimates, Project Summary Reports, and regular progress reports.
- Experience in working in Agile team and knowledge about reviewing and writing requirements and acceptance scenarios
- Experience with different project management tools, JIRA preferred
- Knowledge of scripting languages to support discovery and testing activities
- Understanding of version control and management systems, Bitbucket
- Experience in working with known continuous integration and continuous delivery platforms, e.g Bitrise
- Experience working distributed teams
- Experience with delivering large scale serverless platforms in the financial services and human services sector
- Experience with accessible design and validation

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
