**About the role**
As the Property and Facilities Assistant at Jaycar Group, you will support the day to day activities of the property team in ensuring our stores ware set up to provide the best customer and team experience.
This includes coordinating maintenance and repairs, liaising with landlords, managing agents and contractors to ensure compliance with lease obligations, and acting as the first point of contact for the leaders across the business with any property related issues.
**Responsibilities:
- Supporting our team and customers across the network, including distribution centres and offices, through ensuring that properties are maintained in good order.
- Providing day to day support to ensure quality maintenance is completed in a timely manner
- Induction of external contractors and management of their work
- Ensure all Stores maintenance requests are actioned promptly and courteously
- Provide Facilities and Project support to the Property team, including raising Work Orders and reviewing invoices against work orders Support the property team with administration and project management as needed.

- Qualifications in facilities, building, business or other related field and/or experience in facilities, property management
- Vendor management for specialised services
- Ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts
- Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facilities, property management, or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, also an active listener
- High level communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a diverse group of stakeholders
- Ability to use work order management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills Stakeholder management - including contractors
